Made in America???

I got this sewing machinge from my great-aunt Rita (My Grandma Miller's sister). It was made in 1948 in New Jersey. Its made of metal and is as solid as a tank. I couldn't believe it when I got it home and found out how awesome it works and you can't beat the price (FREE!!) I've already made a couple things, and am going to attempt to make Celeste a quilt for her bed. I guess my 4-H days weren't in vain after all :) Hey mom, do you remember that flower skirt and vest I made and got to model at the 4H fashion show? I wish I still had that...oh well, I still have the memories :)
