Canning Cherry Pie Filling

Here are a few pictures from the day we canned cherry pie filling and I soaked my feet in boiling hot water. I had the kids pose for a picture pretending that they were helping and then I kicked them out of the kitchen.....JUST KIDDING!! I like to have them help and they always have fun doing it. It makes a much larger mess for me and it definitely takes me longer to get things done, but it is worth the mess and my time. Some day, probably much sooner than I would like, these little munchkins will be grown and gone. I want to make as many happy memories during their childhood as I can, and hopefully teach them a thing or two while doing it. Oh, and if anyone was wondering, my feet are doing much better and I am able to wear shoes again!
